Star Wars Coca-Cola Ad Review + Limited Edition Cans/Bottles

Star Wars Coca-cola ad collaboration

Recently (Jun 26, 2025) Coca-Cola released a promotional Star Wars ad along with some new promotional cans/bottles. The Ad itself was very fun and cinematic. It makes you feel that warm fun Star Wars feel, at least it did me. Like experiencing the magic of the galaxy for the first time, or being reminiscent of what it feels like. As everyone in the ad are dressed up as familiar Star Wars characters, like Darth Vader, Boba Fett, Jedi, Maul and more. I like that it incorporated a variety of characters from the prequels, originals, and sequels, rather than strictly focusing on any one predominantly. It felt balanced in that, and regardless if you’re a fan of any of the trilogies, it gives a sense of belonging and equal part in the fandom. Unifying the costumed movie goers through reenacting scenes from the films, as the theater erupts into a frenzy of play fighting and imagination. It gives a sense of familiarity of being a kid again, and enjoying the small little things of the magic of the Star Wars universe.

Along with the ad, Coca-Cola are releasing limited edition cans and bottles. The cans/bottle include a black and red design of specific characters from Star Wars and I believe come out July 7th of this year (2025.) There will be 30 specialty cans and bottles. 27 in select markets around the world and three only available at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort. The characters that will be available on the cans are as follows.

Original Taste: Lando Calrissian, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Queen Amidala, Kylo Ren, Ahsoka Tano, Darth Maul, K-2SO, Boba Fett, Poe Dameron, The Mandalorian, Cassian Andor, General Grievous and Emperor Palpatine

Zero Sugar: Darth Vader, Yoda, Princess Leia, Anakin Skywalker, Luke Skywalker, Chewbacca, Han Solo, BB-8, C-3PO, R2-D2, Finn, Rey, Grogu and an Imperial Stormtrooper –according to Disney Parks Blog.

You will be able to scan the can for the AR experience. And you will be able to send your own hologram transmission of hope and community. You record your message and see it transform into a hologram message to share with friends and family. I think this is a fun gimmick to include in this promotional campaign.

All in all, I think this is a really cool collaboration and a fun little collectors item to obtain. As well as a fun ad to enjoy that brings the joy of Star Wars to everyone. Which characters are you going to be on the lookout for? I’m personally going to try and find Anakin, Boba, or Maul.
